Vatican offers classes on Satanism

The Vatican's university is offering a new course on Satanism, black magic and exorcism.

Renewed worries about satanic practices among young people prompted the class for clergy and seminarians at Rome's Pontifical Academy.

The Vatican is particularly concerned about the lure of the devil in Italy where eight people believed to belong to a satanic sect will be tried next week for their alleged role in three ritualistic killings.


Also, in other totally unrelated news, the Pope says that gay marriage is part of "ideology of evil".

  • I find it ironic that his new book is titled Memory and Identity when he barely remembers who he is. And when the fuck did Bushspeak become used by the Italians? Ideology of Evil? (axis of evil?)

    You know what, the stupid diaper-clad fool doesn't understand his own name, let alone matters of actual evil. And all the respect that I held for him as a religious leader is slowly draining down the low-flow toilet.

    Does anyone in the world still understand what EVIL is? Hitler was evil, Stalin was evil, if Satan exists he'd be evil. The lispy Starbucks guy that serves me my venti americano? Yeah, I don't think that qualifies as evil.

  • Rough anal sex is not relegated to solely homosexual relationships. Anal is sooooo in for hetero's. I had a chance go to a lecture by Sue Johansen from the sex show on the women's channel last year, and she said that it is without question the thing she gets asked most about.
    Statistics for couples engaging in anal sex are rising steadily also.

  • Indeed, the downright growing acceptance of porn. There's a photography book out now featuring portraits of porn stars. It's even got a soundtrack, and it's a huge seller. You can find them both in Virgin Megastore even. Jenna Jameson action figures, to say nothing of the amount of mainstream magazine covers she's been on. Everything from FHM to Paper. Porn is everywhere and in liberal circles is accepted. The new attorney general of the US is working hard to stop that though. I hate conservatives.
